The preamplifier PIPS detectors integrates a deep ion implanted semiconductor and low noise charge preamplifier, and has a small and robust housing and structural design.
The preamplifier can be easily connected to subsequent equipment, and depending on the subsequent instrument, a linear gain amplifier may be required.
The low power consumption of the probe makes it ideal for portable devices. For example, the preamplifier PIPS detectors requires only ±12V battery with an additional bias of +10V to+70V.
