The JW-S3.6 personal metrology gamma detector developed by Jingwei is based on a custom PIN junction diode. The JW-S3.6 is capable of detecting radioactive (photon) gamma rays, and the detector has ultra-low power consumption, making the batteries of portable devices durable. Ultra-small volume, can meet a variety of design needs. The JW-S3.6 is a solid-state sensor with high immunity to electrostatic fields and insensitivity to magnetic fields, making it a good choice for new state-of-the-art designs as well as for upgrading existing ones.
